Revolutionary learning experience that transformed dense clinical content into engaging entertainment-style education. I created an unprecedented 16-episode "docuseries" with custom Netflix-style streaming interface for Positive Behavior Support (PBS) training.
The Challenge:
IntellectAbility needed to transform complex clinical PBS content filled with academic jargon into accessible training for IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) caregivers. Traditional eLearning approaches failed to engage the target audience.
The Solution:
• Designed 16-episode docuseries format with Netflix-style navigation and interface
• Created custom streaming experience with episode thumbnails, progress tracking, and "Continue Watching" functionality
• Rewrote all content at 6th-grade reading level for caregiver accessibility
• Integrated AI video technology for enhanced multimedia storytelling
• Developed binge-worthy learning that participants actually wanted to complete
The Impact:
Created a completely new paradigm for clinical training delivery. Participants reported the experience felt like "watching Netflix, not doing training."
